Wow, I actually got very invested in this story, the MC is relatable and even if the story had some ups and downs in the pacing department, there were moments I was surprised and feeling dread. There were some moments where MC acted stupidly which set back the pacing but overall? NICE :)
Wow ok, I liked this game... at first I was a bit bored and didn't understand much, but from the moment we were kidnapped and it started to get more in-depth I started to find it very fun and interesting, each time I played to get different endings I became more interested in the game (Right away I fell in love with Hiroko and Ryo)
The time in the house made us get to know each boy better, I enjoyed learning about their backstory, seeing their behavior towards us and all the misunderstandings, cute moments?? and yanderes moments?? I really enjoyed it, this game is very good and it's not that hard to get the endings (I only needed help to get Hiroko's).
Also to the developer, I was able to enable the solo failed escape ending by editing script.rpy from Ren'Py and taking the failed out of "failed" in lines 31678 and 31725, example: if normalending == "failed":
jump failedending
TO
if normalending == "":
jump failedending
I wasn't able to get the ending without this change, even with following the guide.
Kenzan Good/Success End is possible. I just got it today. The GUIDE IS WRONG when it comes to getting Kenzan's ending.
Options to pick for Kenzan Good/Success End (will differ from guide):
Sorry I'm busy > 'You didn't do the paper' > Decline > Call him out. > '[Excuse that is NOT Play it Off.]' > Whatever flavor you like > No > Agree with Hiroko > Blame Alex. > Tell him everything. > Tell him about Akira > Hide under bed > Say nothing > Keep him here > The death of the child > No > Keep running! > Sunnersville > Kenzan Good/Success End
There may be other variations, but following the above steps worked for me.

I loved the plot and characters. Although the writing had typos and was a bit monotone in the beginning, the kidnapping section was written better!
I just wish there was an option to surrender yourself to da bois. Or maybe yk make the revenge thing a choice instead of the MC always wanting to leave.
My stockholm syndrome preference in fiction is quite obvious here XD
I've seen the original book, but i think i like the Visual novel version better. It feels like the full Thriller conversion :).

But, i simply don’t like the MC in both versions. They gave me this 'unstable and switchy' vibes since the start, and i noticed They always lost their consistency when executing their plans. They want to gain their trusts, but insulted them right after being compliant. I actually expecting the calculated and can-hide-emotions-well type of MC in that one, so the escape ending would feel satisfying, but well...
That aside, i actually love all the boys -including Hiroko and Kenzan-. I think most of the guys turned messed up like that because of their childhood memories. The most heartbreaking individual is Alex, to be honest. He's not loved by his mom, and.. she's a sadist when it comes to Alex. Sorry not sorry, but i kinda blame the mom for Alex's behavior 😂.
And last, the most lovable thing in this is everyone has realistic personalities here. Even Mc is not 'fully angelic' and did something bad in their past. And the boys, though Yandere, they simply wouldn't resort to violence if the mc not violent too. Also the Twins, they're good people at heart, but when they romantically attracted to someone... my goodness. But this is what hooked me with this VN the most :D.
I manage to got most of the endings except kenzan's good ending 😂. It took me eighteen-th tries to got it without the guide (yes, i counted my gameplay lol).

When i tried to use the guide, though, there was some error in "Shout", then "up to the mountain". It said it was suppose to be the way to get kenzan's good ending, but he's still got shot. So, i tried to changed it by keep running and go to the station, and it worked. However, that was just a one time thing before i tried to got it with a mix from guide and my own gameplay again - the result was kenzan got shot. I think there's a bug in kenzan's good ending route, dev.

Man! Was that a ride! I truly loved playing this game and I'm sincerely glad I played the demo first to see the difference in everything! I'm also very grateful that you allowed this game to be free, I loved the characters (no matter how fucked up they are) as well as MC. I have to say, I'm a bit biased but I love the endings where MC goes off the fucking rails, probably since that's the only endings I've got without help from the walkthrough. Speaking of that, thank you very much for providing the walkthrough! I also noticed I was experiencing some difficulties with the bugs you've mentioned in the walkthrough and I sent you a gmail about it, but other than that I seriously love the story and how you and many others have adapted it to a visual novel format! Granted I haven't read the original wattpad version but still, I love how the characters (no matter how their names are genuinely corny, cheesy, and slightly cringey) felt so alive and real despite there being such brutal scenes. I truly wonder how Lala is holding up, poor girl, she's losing everything so quickly and depending on the ending, she might lose even more when MC gets their hands on her.... Aaaaa!! Seriously! Great visual novel! I had so much fun with it! Especially being horrified at the atrocities those six could commit, wonderfully done to everyone! You all deserve a standing ovation!

Lmao the whole game made me played it in a whole night (≧▽≦) I like that the main menu changed after getting each bad ending of these yandere bois. Thanks for making the vn version of it ♡(> ਊ <)♡ I tried playing it without walkthrough but I can get Kenzan's failed escape achievement lmao, but I do get that ending while doing the success ending tho lol. Thr walkthrough isn't that accurate. In order to talked in Kenzan's route after the twin fought is to blame alex, cuz' the rest option will be grabbed by Alex because of what the twins said. This game is really good! I enjoyed playing all the endings, though there is one problem that I would like to bring up. The walkthrough isn't 100% accurate. The police case failure ending, and the success ending are the exact same, the instructions for the failed escape ending actually only lead the player to a succeeded escape ending, and the true ending instructions are too vague. I'm trying really hard to get the true ending, but I almost always get the escape ending instead. Unless that is the true ending? It isn't ever mentioned for sure if that is the case (I'd really appreciate some clarification), so I don't know if I'm doing this all for nothing. I really want to get all the achievements, so please help with this. On that subject, I'd like to also point out that I've played the Kenzan failed escape ending twice and it still hasn't shown up in my achievements. Other than those minor problems, the game itself is amazing and the art and CGs are phenomenal! Thank you so much for making a game version of Infatuation.

I was very surprised by this game! It was so good, I wish it were longer ! At first I was a little skeptical because the beginning didn´t make a good impression on me, especially the mc because bruh this guy sexually assaulted you and i don´t care if he was drunk, you shouldn´t forgive him that easily.... but anyways! It´s a good thing I kept reading because it only got better as time went on. Especially the entire kidnapping plot was so well thought out and written reeeeaaaally really good! SERIOUSLY, REALLY GOOD. I loved that the mc didn´t start having feelings for those guys! I was afraid whether this game would try to redeem these guys ... and i was pleasantly surprised to see that was not the case. !0/10
Also, this game inspired me to try creating a vn, too ... but there is a problem in my code. I want to add sound effects while the characters are talking, just like in this game. I do have some sound effetcs ( and yeah i already tried "play sound [ insert sound ]" or "play music [insert sound]" and tried several tutorials but no one could help me. So if anyone reads this ... please have mercy on me and message me or something D:
i remember when a visual novel version of maskcover's book was being talked about on the amino (back when i was in it; i was jinny/molly :) ) and i'm pleasantly surprised that this was made into a full thing! looking forward to playing it when i'm able to <3
Really enjoying this. I'm still not even close to finishing the endings, so I have a lot more playing to do lol. But first of all, this has SO MUCH CONTENT, just omg props to you right off the bat for all of that. So much writing, and so many routes. That's incredible.
Anyway... I feel bad because I kinda wanna f*ck Kaito. I feel bad. I feel bad that I like so much that we got that scene at Jelly Rock and got a kissing scene, and that we got to "initiate" a kiss in that scene too. Lol. (That scene where you give the angel food cake to ryo was great too...) And I definitely still feel this way after getting his ending LMAO who am I.
Before I ask my questions, I just wanted to say that you've made an amazing game! It's honestly pretty creepy and I've been recommending it to my friends. I was just wanting to ask two questions. When could we expect to see a walkthrough of the endings? I also wanted to ask about this one event. I had seen screen shots of Ryo drugging the player, and I was just wondering if that was still in the game or taken out as I've tried to find this scene but I couldn't figure out how to get to it. To be fair, I'm pretty bad at getting to the hard to get stuff. I'm very excited to see what kinds of stuff you make in the future!

Will there possibly be a walkthrough for all endings? I really wanna know how to romance Hiroko, because without romancing Kanzan I've always ended up as a non-lover escaping route or other yan boys' route.
By the way, your game is awesome!!! No matter how hot they are, you manage to make them freak me out. It's good to have a game that's un-redeemable or an unhealthy relationship.

The failed escape ending and both the Kenzan endings are so bugged. And the amount of errors I get are crazy. Idk why those endings are so difficult.
